Since 2003, when the Portuguese Association began awarding college scholarships,the nonprofit organization has given $72,500 to sixty-four residents of Maui County. Then, please add the 2025 numbers - delivered to the awardees on Sunday, July 6, 2025: USD 6,000 and five awardees.

- Kaiya-Juliette Kapaku – Wrapping up her freshman year at the University of Hawaii-Mānoa, she is the proud recipient of the "Richard and Fátima Cameron Excellence Scholarship" ($1,500).
- Alize Pu-Hanchett – A shining graduate of Hāna High School, she has earned the "Damien J. Farias Integrity Scholarship" ($1,500).
